Germany 2019
I wish I could fly every Year to Germany and visit my family but unfortunately it’s quit expensive to fly over there. This year was special though, it was my Grandmas nineties Birthday.
I was hoping that I will see some snow this year, I felt to Germany in February. When I arrived in Amsterdam I did not see any snow but when I came out of the Airport, therein was snow. I was happy. Now I just had another 3 hour drive to my hometown in Germany ahead.
I love living in the States but I really miss the German food. When I fly to Germany, I always buy a lot of German food and German products, like cream, hair shampoo etc, to bring back home. My mom is saving all the adds the week before so we can look through and see what I want and need.
This year we took it easy, planned day by day. We went to some malls and did some serious shopping. But believe me I still looked at the prices. I had a budget set for how much I can spend during my time in Germany. I’m always looking for great sales, like the brown sweater you can see below it was original $80 and I got it for $21.
We also did some Sight seeing in my home town. It’s not I saw everything already but I wanted to take some pictures of the old city to show to my Husband who couldn’t come with me to Germany. He loves old architectures. There are some streets with are super narrow, I had some problems walking through them.
All in all I had an amazing time, I saw my Grandma, my niece and nephew, my sister and brother in law and of course my mom.
Can’t wait for my next Visit, hopefully next year…
