How to get the best bang for your buck in store and online
There are a lot of retailers out there that have some kind of reward program that is free or they have other incentives on how you can save money. I’m going to show you some of the benefits in a quick glance from the retailers I shop at. I only going to talk about the free programs, because who wants to spend money when they want to save?!
The retailer are listed in alphabetic order.
Abercrombie & Fitch
Abercrombie has a free member program called “myAbercrombie”. For every dollar you spend you get 10 points, if you are VIP member you get 15 points for every dollar spend. If you reach a total of 2500 points you are getting a $10 reward for a future purchase. (The rewards is valid for 90 days then it expires) The accumulated points are only for one calendar year valid after that you have to start over again. To become a VIP you have to spend $500 in a year. The good thing is that not just during the year you qualify for VIP but as well as the following year you have the VIP status.
You can get points by not just shopping but also if you fill out your profile.
If you are part of the member program you can get special deals on some items, like early access to sales, special member discounts or member exclusive offers.
If you shop in store just give them your email or phone number and they look you up.

If you like your jeans or Bras you should definitely sign up. Because for every 5 pairs of jeans or 5 bras you buy you get one for free. I think this is a pretty sweet deal. The only downside to this is the items have to be at full price. Clearance jeans and bras do not count.
If you have a jeans you don’t wear anymore you can bring them to one of the store to recycle and you get $10 off your next pair of jeans. Downside you have to purchase the jeans in store at that time.

The really good thing about DSW is that if you have shoes you know you don’t wear anymore and they are only worn a couple times, you can donate them at any DSW location instead of throwing them away. For this you receive 50 points in your account. This is a sweet extra.

Amazon
Amazon does not have a free rewards program. They offer “prime membership”, which has a monthly fee. With prime you can get free2 day or 1 day shipping or same day delivery if you order before a set time. They also offer prime video and music, where you can stream thousand of song or movies for free. If you like to shop at Whole Foods market you can get certain groceries for a better price. Amazon prime also offers free grocery delivery.
So the question here is it worth it to have prime or not? I have to say if you like/love to shop on amazon and you buy more then the membership fee, I can recommend getting prime. As well if you like to watch movies or tv shows it is a good alternative to Netflix or other streaming services.
I decided to talk about Amazon because they are a big online store. Even though it is not free.
I hope you guys found it helpful and maybe learned the one or other thing as well.
Until next time…
