My April reads

My April reads were not a lot of books. Somehow I couldn’t find time to really read. But that is ok.

I do try to read three books a month. Maybe next month will be better.

Ok enough talking let’s get to my books.

In this book Hannah finally gets married. That was what I was waiting for all the other books, that she finally makes a decision between Norman and Mike but she chooses a third person, Ross. I think with that she is now married this is the last book I read form this series. because they are all kinda the same. Some romance, someone gets murdered, she finds the person or lately someone from her family and she is investigating, making it look like the police doesn’t know what they doing, then she is always almost getting killed right when she figures out who the killer is and then Mike the detective is rescuing her or Norman. That is literally all there is to the book. The only interest it held for me was I wanted to know who she chooses as a partner. Now I know and now I won’t read the books anymore.

This is the last book of the John Puller series. That makes me sad but I’m also excited to start reading a new series. In this book John’s father is accused of murdering his wife when John was a kid. Puller is going on leave and start investigating his mother disappearance. With help from his brother and a friend he sees what might actually happen 30 years ago. Then there is also the Storie from Paul Roger’s, who got released from prison on parol. But start to disappear right away. Puller and Paul’s ways are crossing during the investigation. I really like this book and I’m sad it was the last of this series.
