Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here again. What does that mean? You will see everyone talking about it, telling you this is a must item, doing a lot of try ons and so on. Well this is my second time for the Nsale. This post I want to dedicate on my experience from last year and what I would do different this year.
What I said before a lot of people will do try ons, tell you this is a must have item. Last year I really listen to a lot of Influencer and bought a lot of items. Most of hem where a must have item. I also tried new brands I never really heard about before. In the end, I spend way more money then I should. But I thought well I want to become in an Influencer myself and I looked up to the other people. I returned quit a lot as well.
When I was home and tried the items on again, I was really thinking is that actually me? Would I wear it? I can tell you I still have items in my closet with the tag on it from last year sale. What does this tell you? Don’t buy just because other people say you need it.
What I also noted after the sale, that two to three month later the item that were in the Anniversary sale went on sale again and were actually cheaper then. But you can not predict which items are going on sale later.
You can also find a lot of similar items by different retailers for a lot cheaper as well. Most times it was a month after the sale.
So what I’m going to do different this year? First of all I set myself a budget and I can not go over it. Second I created a wishlist for items I really like, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to buy everything from my wishlist. Third I only get items I like and know I’m going to wear, it doesn’t matter if I didn’t see another influencer talking about the items.
So in the end where it comes to is, don’t buy something because someone else is saying it is a must item. Set yourself a budget and only buy items you really want and know you will wear again and again.
Happy shopping!
Until the next time…..
This is my opinion and experience
